Isn't it crazy how time flies?! I remember holding little DJ in the hospital days after he was born, and now he's a sweet little 5 year old boy. Sigh. That's gonna be me soon (insert all the crying emojis) with my little Theo growing up! Anyway, now DJ is a big brother to little Elyse. They loved running around in the leaves and exploring together at our shoot. Their mom and dad love them so much and its been sweet to watch their family grow. Here are their Fall Mini-Session photos:
Buckman Family - Fall Mini-Session
Ah guys remember the Fall - the beautiful colors, the warmer temps and the foliage?! (points if you just got the Jim Gaffigan reference) I thought I'd share these bright and fun photos with you of the Buckman family today to remind you that Winter doesn't last forever. But really the Buckman's they LOVE winter! They own ski/snowboard shops all over the central PA area. I actually used to work for Brad at his store in King of Prussia! Snow, Blizzards or just plain cold and they've got you covered when it comes to winter wear and gear! This sweet family has been through a lot over the past few years as Jenny has battled with her health and had surgeries. Praise God for His healing! And its so wonderful to see all these sweet smiles after such hard times! Here's the Buckman family mini-session:
Moxham - Lifestyle Shoot
GUYYSSSS ... I am SO excited to show you these images! I've been dreaming and hoping and praying to give people REAL photos - like of their real true life - and its really happening!!! I have such sweet photos of my own family that were taken in our place, in our regular clothes, doing our regular thing and those photos - they just mean the world to me. I know I'll be able to look back on them and remember life as it TRULY was! So that's what I want for others.
I was recently spilling my guts about this dream and some of the inspiration I'd had, at a church event to sweet Alison. She was totally tracking with me, saying that she'd actually been wanting to plan for some new photos of her and her sweet husband, Jordan. So we talked about them - what they like, how they spend their time and we planned for an awesome afternoon at their place with my camera.
It was so exciting for me to see how excited they were for these photos. I did my best to guide them while also allowing them special time with each other. I had them ask each other questions or make confessions and relive memories. They read through a journal they kept when they first married and bought their house. They brought the family together, including all 6 of their sweet animal children, and snuggled on the couch. My favorite moment was watching them sit on the front stoop of their house and each take a moment to pray for their family's time in that home. This is what dreams are made of - love, family, coffee, a blanket on a cold afternoon and someone to snuggle close with and call your own.
Francesco - Baby Journey
Oh my, I was SO excited to meet little Francesco at the beginning of the new year! I got to take Caitlin and Tony's maternity photos back in September and we had such a wonderful time, chasing the sun and skipping on rocks in the creek that night, just capturing that sweet baby bump. Now he is here and adorable, of course! The Serrao family has chosen my new Baby Journey package which is a series of 5 photo sessions to capture so many of the wonderful changes that take place over the course of little Francesco's 1st year. This couple is so easy going and were so sweet just loving on their new little addition.

Theo's 1st Birthday!!!
Once in a while I want to share something more personal with you on this blog. So you get to know me a little better. As I've mentioned in many of my posts, I became a mom recently. And somehow my child has already turned one?! We had such a special day of celebration not only partying over bacon covered donuts, but getting the incredible chance to dedicate our Theo to Jesus at our church. So excuse me while I sit for a second to shed a tear of sincere gratitude for this little gift (his name actually means 'gift of God') and remember with joy what a sweet, special privilege it is to be his mommy. I've learned so much, been pushed far beyond what I thought I was possible of and my heart has expanded in size so much so, I think it might explode.
I love you my little Theo man.
